Subtitle: I WENT TO LAW SCHOOL SO MY OPINION COUNTS 7% MORE THAN YOURS

It’s easy for people to watch twenty minutes of Nancy Grace and walk away wanting Casey Anthony’s head on a stick. And frankly, that’s your prerogative. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, however simplistic or ill-formed it is.

I don’t know if she killed her kid. I do know that the prosecution failed to prove it’s case. That simple. That is the justice system that we have. You are presumed innocent until proven guilty. The prosecution didn’t do that here. It would have been a massive failure of the justice system if she would have been sent to death row on the flimsy-ass evidence that the state presented.

I’m pretty surprised, actually, that the jury returned the verdict that they did. People typically lose their shit when a dead kid is involved. Rationality and reason is thrown out the window. Perhaps the prosecution figured that they could trick the jury into convicting by relying on the dead kid effect. The fact that the jury didn’t buy it proves that justice was served. Don’t like it? Move to the middle east. They like to shoot first and ask questions never over there. Or just get on a jury and vote the person guilty based on your gut and not the evidence.

And on another note, I am thrilled she was found not guilty. Angry white people amuse me to no end. This should give me several hours worth of entertainment.
